  • 1½ quarts of hot water
  • 1½ tbls of white vinegar
  • ¼ cup of 3% Hydrogen Peroxide (you can buy it from any store)
  • 1½ tbls of your favourite dish soap (generic or brand doesn’t matter, it’s important you are satisfied how it works for you)
  • Add a few drops essential oils of your choice or combine two or more.


  • Combine all of the ingredients together (there isn’t a certain order in which to add them). Shake well until you get a homogeneous mix.
  • Pour it into the steam cleaner
  • Follow cleaning instructions

Bonus Tip: Some people report that they get a fantastic cleaning results by using only hot water without adding any substances at all.
